Restore balance. Embody your best. Treat yourself well.
Acupuncture is one branch of Oriental Medicine, which includes nutrition, exercise (tai chi, qigong), herbs, and bodywork (massage, scraping therapy) to maintain optimal health. A holistic medicine -- the oldest, most common medical procedure worldwide -- acupuncture considers a range of physical, emotional, social, and environmental phenomena. People who have experienced acupuncture report many benefits, including strengthened immune system, increased resilience in the face of stress, improved mood, reduced pain, more restful sleep, improved digestion, fewer allergy symptoms and many others.
Acupuncture is a gentle therapy with cumulative effects. Treatment involves the insertion of thin needles on specific body points. Some report immediate results; others find improvement over time. Every body is different. Noticing your body is the only way to know if acupuncture is best for you. To start, we recommend 4 to 6 treatments weekly. Rest, then adjust based on observable results.
